A single access point, a 2.7km enclosed length and exacting tolerances made this one of the most constrained environments imaginable for concrete works.
Our approach
We planned logistics and placing carefully for the restricted access, working with Sika to deliver the specialist concrete to the required standard along the tunnel.
The outcome
The works contributed to turning a Victorian railway tunnel into a world-class aerodynamic vehicle test facility, a clear demonstration of delivery under extreme constraint.
