In-situ concrete flooring

Power floated industrial floors.

Dense, hard-wearing power floated floors finished to high flatness tolerances, for warehousing, manufacturing and distribution.

The work

Built for traffic, abrasion and racking loads.

Power floating compacts and densifies the surface of a freshly placed slab, producing a smooth, durable finish that stands up to forklift traffic, point loads and constant abrasion.

We control the pour, the timing and the float passes to hit the specified surface regularity, then test and record the result.

  • High flatness. Finished to the FM or SR grade your racking and MHE require.
  • Durable surface. Densified finish that resists abrasion and dusting.
  • Joint design. Joint layout planned around the building and its loadings.

Detail

Where power floated floors fit

Warehousing and logistics

High-bay and narrow-aisle warehouses need tight floor flatness for safe, fast racking and MHE operation. We set out and finish to the defining or free-movement grade specified.

Manufacturing and industrial

Production floors take constant load and abrasion. A properly floated and cured slab keeps its surface and its level for the long term.

FAQs

Common questions

What flatness can you achieve on a power floated floor?
We finish to the FM or SR grade your specification requires, then test and record the result so it is evidenced at handover.
Can a power floated floor take forklift and racking loads?
Yes. The densified surface is built for forklift traffic, point loads and abrasion in warehousing and industrial use.
How soon can the floor be used after pouring?
It depends on the mix and conditions. We plan curing into the programme and advise realistic access times for following trades.
